FAQ's

Below are a few of the most frequently asked questions... We hope you find them useful. If you would like to talk further or have additional questions, please feel free to contact us.

Q: How much does it cost to build a home?
A: This question is one we get asked quite often, but unfortunately, it's one of the hardest to answer. The square foot cost of a home varies depending on the site, the design, and the level of finish. The cost typically can vary from $45.00sq ft. to $145.00sq ft.

Q: What are the basic permits and do you help obtain them?
A: A septic/sewer permit and a water permit are required along with a basic building permit from the county/city involved. We can help you with the permit process to begin construction.

Q: I need help getting started. Can I hire you as a consultant to help me get my plans and permits and then put it out to bid to other contractors?
A: Yes, we can offer consulting services and also hook you up with designers, architects and engineers if necessary.

Q: I have plans. How can I get a bid from you?
A: We offer free estimates and would look forward to giving you a bid. We would need a complete set of building plans.

Q: Do you do remodels?
A: Yes we do. Whether it's a complete home remodel, addition, deck or repair job, we can help.

Q: I want to be my own general contractor. Can I get a bid from you on a specific part of the job?
A: Some times, a customer acts as his/her own general contractor and hires out specific tasks to subcontractors. We have worked this way on a bid basis or on an hourly basis.

Q: How do we start?
A: If you need design help, we can help you find the right people. If you have your plans and need an estimate, just give us a call and we'll get together.
